Every server is scored out of 100 points, split across four categories. Higher is better in all of them.
Sales — 25 pts
Based on the server's real average guest check (60% weight) and real tip rate (40%). A $60 check and a 25% tip rate max this out. This is real POS + tip-report data.
Reliability — 25 pts
On-time % (up to 12 pts), keeps-scheduled-shifts % (up to 8 pts), and no-shows (up to 5 pts). On-time and shift-keeping are real 7shifts data.
Why someone can be "late but still reliable": punctuality is only 12 of the 25 reliability points. A server who runs a few minutes late but never gives away shifts and never no-shows still scores high, because showing up and honoring the schedule counts for more than the exact clock-in minute.
Consistency — 20 pts
How steady a server's performance is shift to shift. Today it is derived from punctuality steadiness; it will get richer as we track more history. A server who performs the same every shift scores high; one who swings up and down scores lower.
Reviews — 30 pts
Guest reviews (Google, Yelp, etc., via Marqii) that name the server by first name, over the last 180 days. Points come from share of positive mentions plus volume of mentions. A server named often and positively scores high; a server with no name-mentions scores 0 here (not penalized, just no signal yet). Live now.
Table "shift value"
Each table's value is its real average monthly sales, then adjusted for the selected daypart, season, and weather. Green = higher-earning tables, red = lower. Section value is the sum of its tables.
Grade on a curve
The "Grade on curve" button rescales tonight's on-shift roster so scores spread across a 55–99 band — top performer near the top, everyone graded relative to the crew that's actually working, instead of an absolute 0–100.
What's real vs. estimated
Real: per-table sales, average check, tip rates, on-time %, shift-keeping %, section sales & tips. Still estimated / placeholder: table occupancy %, table turn times, section "character" labels. These will be grounded in real POS data as we wire more of Brink in.
